I'm feeling this: Axel Hoedt photography

I was looking at Hoedt's portfolio online and totally fell in love with these shots:
I'm going to India in less than three days and I'm hoping I will find as much inspiration in my pictures as he did.

He also does amazing work in fashion photography.

It took me a few days to realize the concept after seeing them on various blogs

Recent fascination: Dolly Parton

I am taking great risks at posting this. I'm thinking: "are you gonna keep reading this blog if I talk about a nipped and tucked 63 year old country singer?!"

Well I'm not gonna wikipedia this trashy looking diva for you but I'll leave you with this quote:

She's been around for ages and is still going hard. Let's hope at 63, I'll be joking about how some drag queens look so much better than me!

Clear heels (ain't just for strippers)

I have a pair of beautiful clear heels, and I try not to wear them that much.

A lot of people associate them with stripper shoes Man, Chris Rock even uses the term "clear heels" to describe strippers!

Urban dictionary's definition

As much as I would like to go up and down a pole like a sexy butterfly, I don't want people thinking that I have a pocket full of one's and multiple layers of sexy underwear.

But lately I keep seeing high end brands encouraging us to rock the transparent heel look:

So I guess, I will have an excuse to wear them next season :-)

The afternoon in bed

Let's face it, when is the last time you saw a girl with great style rocking some logos all over the place?

Never...

Logos/Monogram = tacky (at least that's what my momma taught me)

So why have these grown on me? Somebody needs to check me before I go and spend 400 american dollars on these Louie V tights !!!

Is this a "do" or a "don't"? I can't seem to answer that. They keep throwing those damn tights everywhere in all the magazines and all the blogs... I can't think straight- I am going crazy- I think I want those.

At first, i totally categorized this idea as completely sick. Now, i understand how fashion is inspired by it sometimes.
